In addition to idyllic Christmas markets and traditional events, there is the church’s season of preparation, featuring Advent wreath blessings and Rorate Masses. The highlight and culmination are the Nativity celebrations and Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve. Church concerts, candlelit walks, and the tower bell ringing before Midnight Mass are just as much a part of traditional Advent events as the life-size Nativity scenes in the individual towns.
