Almenland Schroeder's Herb Workshop / Demonstration Garden

In the heart of Naturpark Almenland Naturpark , in the municipality of Passail, the Schroeder family produces carefully selected herbal products made from hand-picked herbs grown in their own garden. This fascinating garden, which has been cultivated over time, is also open to interested guests for a visit.

The owner, Sven Schroeder, is a certified herbalist and enjoys sharing his knowledge at his nature workshop for biodiversity:

There is also a farm stand in the herb garden where you can buy a wide variety of products.

Important Information:

Due to severe storm damage during the winter of 2025 and spring of 2026, the Schroeder family’s farm store is closed until further notice. Guided tours of the demonstration garden are also not currently being offered.

Juice Bar at the Herb Workshop

The “Tischlein deck Dich Bike Tour” passes right by the demonstration garden, and all cyclists are cordially invited to enjoy a free herbal juice from the self-service bar—a little refreshment to make the climb a bit easier! Of course, you’re also welcome to take a short break and visit the demonstration garden. This offer is valid through late summer.
