Discover Mountain Worlds and Alpine Adventures

The Drachentour combines a physical challenge with a variety of nature experiences and takes you to the most beautiful spots around Teichalm and Tyrnaueralm. The route winds through forests, across alpine pastures, and past impressive viewpoints overlooking the mountain landscape of the Almenland region.

From the Teichalm, the trail leads up the historic “Russenstraße” toward the Hochalm region. The route continues across the Zechner Moor to the Tyrnaueralm, where you can enjoy a leisurely break with regional specialties. Passing through the village of Tyrnau and over the Heuberg, the tour finally returns to the starting point at Lake Teichalm.

A drive through the expansive pastures, where numerous cattle can be seen during the alpine grazing season, is a special experience.

The Drachentour is open from May 15 to September 30.
