Fishing and Fun in the Almenland Nature Park
TheAlmenland is designed to explain the topic Almenland to children and adults in a playful way using simple concepts. The goal is to familiarize guests with the value, requirements, and interesting facts related to Almenland.
The trail is accessible, stroller-friendly, and open to the public. The loop takes about 20 minutes and goes around the bouncy castle area near the Karl-Wirt Inn! While parents enjoy the culinary offerings featuring Almenland and regional products on the terrace, children can have fun at the playground, the bouncy castle area, and the go-kart track—always within sight of their parents.
From stocking to processing Almenland, guests can learn everything about the fish-farming process and how to work with fish as LIVING CREATURES—so that the fish can grow healthily.
The Mühlental Loop Trail can be easily combined with the Fish Trail, effectively extending the route. Here, you can admire some of the last remaining water mills; two demonstration mills offer a glimpse into a bygone era.
