Experience the most beautiful alpine pastures in the nature park
The trail stretches about 18 kilometers across a high plateau dotted with open alpine pastures, plenty of cattle, and great dining options—including mountain huts and inns. Along the way, you’ll encounter views that are second to none! The magnificent panorama stretches from the Hochschwab to the Stuhleck and all the way to Eastern Styria.
The Almenland connects the Teichalm with the Brandlucken. There is plenty to see at both the starting point and the destination. At the Teichalm, visitors can enjoy the lake, the high moor, and the Holzochse. The Brandlucken , on the other hand, Brandlucken known for its open-air theater in front of the “Huab’n”; plays are performed here regularly in the summer.
