Peaks, alpine pastures, and boundless views

This wonderful hiking tour takes you to the most beautiful peaks in the Almenland Nature Park. On this hike, you’ll get to explore both the Teichalm and the Sommeralm. This somewhat challenging tour is definitely worth the effort, as it rewards you throughout with breathtaking views stretching far into the countryside. We start the Plankogel Loop right at the Sommeralm, from where we hike across lush alpine meadows to the Teichalm.

Our first peak will be the Osser, which is one of the most scenic mountains in the region.
We’ll continue on to the “Schwoabauerkreuz” and then walk a short distance along the Sieben-Kögel Loop Trail. The trail then leads back to the Sommeralm, past the wind turbine, and finally to the summit of the Plankogel.

From there, you'll return to the starting point at the Stoakogl Hut on the Sommeralm.
