Snowshoe Rental

Depending on the weather, snowshoes may be required for some tours. They can be rented at the following rental locations:

Please reserve your snowshoes well in advance. The snowshoes simply strap onto your hiking boots, so there is no need to specify your shoe size when making a reservation.

We had the chance to explore the beautiful snow-covered winter landscape in the Almenland Nature Park Almenland snowshoes. Chiara and two other friends headed to the Tyrnaueralm, one of the 125 alpine pastures in Europe’s largest contiguous low-altitude alpine pasture region. They were accompanied by Silvia and Elisabeth from WEGES—the full-service hiking agency in Styria and a long-standing partner of the Eastern Styria Adventure Region.
