Gaston-Lippitt Alpine Hut

The Mixnitz Alpine Club's mountain hut is located right on the Teichalm, about 5 minutes from its centerpiece, Lake Teichalm.

The lodge can accommodate groups and events of all kinds. Located on the alpine pasture, surrounded by meadows and pastures and right next to the Mixnitzbach stream , it serves as a central starting point for many hikes. Just a few steps away is the Almerlebnispark, featuring a climbing area and a motor skills park for younger guests.

Cabin Amenities:

• a camp for 10 people
• a camp for 6 people
• Currently in the planning stages: a family room for 2 adults and 2 children

A fully equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove and a large common room are available for cooking and dining together. Each dorm also has plenty of space with tables and chairs for game nights or cozy get-togethers.

The cabin also has a large bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

Electricity is available—however, the cabin is heated using the wood-burning stove and a wood-burning heater. There is plenty of wood available right outside the cabin.

The numerous hiking trails at the Teichalm and Sommeralm, as well as the many restaurants, invite you to enjoy a cozy, culinary vacation. But there’s plenty to experience in winter , too:

• Skiing
  The Teichalm lifts and the Reisinger Snow Sports School are located in the immediate vicinity
• The cross-country ski trail runs right past the cabin
• Sledding
• Horse-drawn sleigh rides
• Snowshoe Hikes
