Camping in St. Kathrein/Offenegg

The three panoramic campsites at the Graf Distillery in Zeil, St. Kathrein am Offenegg, offer paved sites with a magnificent view. Water and electricity are available upon request. Campers can use the restroom facilities.

Right next to the Graf Premium Distillery, you can not only take guided tours of the distillery and participate in tastings, but there’s also a farm shop offering regional delicacies. The campground is located right on the Vogelbeer Panoramaweg , and additional biking and hiking trails begin in the immediate vicinity. On the farm, guests are also greeted by petting animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and donkeys, as well as alpine oxen, sheep, and chickens. Depending on the season, fresh fruit from the farm is available.

All anglers are also welcome to fish at the “Schwoaghofer Teich.” The neighborhood of “Zeil” is located just a few meters from the center of St. Kathrein am Offenegg. Nearby are the Landhotel-Restaurant Spreitzhofer and the “Hanging Gardens of Sulamith, ” a popular tourist attraction in St. Kathrein. 

You can get delicacies and groceries for your stay from the neighboring farmers, and you can also shop at adepartment store/tobacco shopin the town center. For a bite to eat, the 3-Hauben-Restaurant at WILDe EDER and the Landhotel Schwaiger are great options. Walkers and hikers can also grab a snack at the Lindenstüberl or the Eibisberg mountain hut!
