Vacation at the Staberhof

Surrounded by nature and offering a magnificent view of Europe’s largest alpine pasture region, this child-friendly mountain farm and vacation home are located at 1,100 meters above sea level.

The "Holzwohnung" (80 m²) and the "Schmied'n-Wohnung" (78 m²) can be rented separately or together and are equipped exactly the same way on both the upper and lower floors :

• a double room (upstairs)
• a room with two single beds (upstairs)
• a bathroom with a toilet (upstairs)
• an entryway and a balcony (upstairs)
• a large living room with a pull-out couch (below)
• Fully equipped kitchen (downstairs)
• additional restroom (downstairs)
• TV and Wi-Fi available

The apartments are heated with a wood chip heating system; there is also a small wood-burning stove in the living room, and firewood is available for free behind the house.

Thanks to the fully equipped kitchen , the apartments are self-catering— though guests can order a "bread roll service" for breakfast. There are also delicious products available directly from the farm: fresh milk, yogurt, eggs, and fine brandies.

Boredom? Definitely not!
There’s plenty to discover on the farm, especially for kids! In the play barn—which has a window looking into the stable—kids can really let off steam even when it’s raining. The “Vogelbeer Playground” is right in front of the vacation home. There are also lots of animals living on the farm:

• Ducks
• Goats
• Fish

In the meantime, parents can enjoy the sunshine, the peace and quiet, and the fresh mountain air. The farm also offers a small but delightful selection of wellness amenities . You can unwind in the sauna, the infrared cabin, and on the loungers.

The "Schmied'n-Keller," built in 1842, is the perfect place to spend some cozy time together. Of course, you're welcome to have a barbecue there , too.

Far from the stress and noise, the farm—as well as the entire town of St. Kathrein am Offenegg—is a paradise for hikers, food lovers, and families. The many restaurants invite you to stop by after a a walk or hike . Places to visit are right nearby!
