A Scenic Loop Trail to the Hoher Zetz

A varied summit hike to the Hoher Zetz with a magnificent view over Eastern Styria all the way to the Pannonian Plain.

The starting point is St. Kathrein am Offenegg, which offers a wealth of places to stop for refreshments and destinations for day trips: enjoy first-class dining, sample delicious pralines at Eveline Wild’s Schokothek, and visit the Sulamith Garden by Sissy Sichart, or uncover the secret of the fine brandies by Michael Graf! St. Kathrein is also a member of the "Styrian Flower Route" and is known for its lush floral displays.

The Vogelbeer Hiking Trail and the Mühlental Loop run around the village. Right at the entrance to the village, visitors are greeted by the large Styrian Panther, a work by Almart artist Sascha Exenberger, who creates his imaginative figures from horseshoes. Five more figures are located along the hiking trails.
