Styria's Most Beautiful Flower Villages
The Styrian Flower Route is one of the five scenic routes in Eastern Styria and winds through some of the region’s most beautiful and flower-filled towns. The route connects eleven municipalities—including St. Kathrein am Offenegg in Naturpark Almenland Naturpark .
Vibrant floral arrangements, lovingly designed townscapes, and well-tended gardens define the character of the member communities. Many of them have already won multiple awards in the Styrian Floral Decoration Contest. Some towns, including St. Kathrein am Offenegg, even hold the title of “Europe’s Most Beautiful Flower Village.”
But the Styrian Flower Route offers much more than just impressive blooms. Along the route, visitors can look forward to a variety of attractions, genuine hospitality, regional cuisine, and unique nature experiences. The route connects the regions of Joglland-Waldheimat, Naturpark Tal Naturpark ,Almenland Naturpark , Wechselland, and Hartbergerland into an enjoyable journey of discovery through Eastern Styria.
